Debbie LeDay Named New Cascade Junior High School Principal
Cascade School District Superintendent Darin Drill announced today that Debbie LeDay will be the new principal at Cascade Junior High School.

"Debbie [LeDay] is a tremendous leader in the junior high school and the district," Drill explained. "She understands how important junior high is for students’ development both academically and socially. I have no doubt that she will shine in this new role and continue to serve students.”

LeDay is currently working as an assistant principal at Cascade Junior High and is the district's Director of Federal Programs. She has been an administrator in the junior high school since 2017.

LeDay started in the district in 1996. With the exception of one year, she taught sixth grade until she took on her administrative duties in 2017.

LeDay replaces Pete Rasmussen who will be the next Cascade High School Principal. LeDay begins her new position on August 1. The district will begin the process of searching for a new junior high assistant principal.

“I’m really excited about this opportunity moving forward,” said LeDay. “I had a great mentor in Pete [Rasmussen] and I will use everything he taught me to take on this new role.”
